WHO ARE PSHRA-HR MEMBERS?
PSHRA-HR members are key executives, managers, supervisors, and related professionals responsible for a variety of HR functions for federal, state, and local governments in the Tri-County area: Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura Counties.
The mission of PSHRA-HR is to optimize organizational and individual performance in the public service by providing HR leadership, professional development, information, and services.
Annual dues are based on current PSHRA-HR national membership status and when you join or renew.
1 year membership with Affiliation to National (must provide National Member ID) - $50.00
1 year membership with no Affiliation - $85.00

The PSHRA-HR board members are optimistic as we progress into the next year that we will continue to provide our members with opportunities for professional development by attending informative luncheon presentations on current HR topics, networking with colleagues, and maximizing the benefits of being affiliated with PSHRA-HR.
Membership Levels
Affiliate Membership - $85.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Persons with an interest in public human resources administration, but who do not meet the requirements for other types of memberships. PSHRA-CI-HR Affiliate members are typically consultants and/or vendor representatives.
PSHRA-HR United Membership - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Person who satisfy the requirements of Regular Membership noted here and have current membership with PSHRA-HR as an individual or through their agency. PSHRA-HR United members have all the same benefits of Regular Members but are already PSHRA-HR members
Member in Transition - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Currently unemployed Human Resources Professional looking for new position in public or private human resources management.
Regular Membership - $85.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Persons who are employed by management in a professional or technical capacity in public or private human resources management; or instructors in the same field. Regular members may become Officers and Directors and may vote on all issues that come before the membership. Regular members receive Chapter Affiliate membership with PSHRA-HR. PSHRA-HR Chapter Affiliates receive the weekly HR Bulletin e-mail and the member rate for all PSHRA-HR professional development opportunities.
Student Membership - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Must be a full-time student without full-time employment (subject to verification).
